As a Management Committee member, having your Centre’s financial statements reviewed or audited can feel like being called into the principal's office without warning. The audit process can often seem as a time-consuming distraction from the other priorities of your Centre and potentially more expensive than necessary.

In this training session, Management Committee members will look at tips to make your audit experience at least more tolerable, outline the difference between a review and an audit, help you decide if your Centre requires an audit or review, who can perform your audit or review, provide a rough outline of what is involved and ideally reduce the sense of dread that may accompany this annual requirement.
