The Wyalkatchem CRC began as the Wyalkatchem Telecentre in 1996. The name change to "Community Resource Centre" occurred in 2010. We were lucky enough to move into a new purpose-designed building in 2014, which includes the visitor centre and public library, and attaches to the Wyalkatchem CBH Agricultural Museum. A competition was then held to name the building, and "The Bushel" was the name chosen. Our CRC acts as a central community hub for visitors, community members, community groups, and businesses. We provide access to community and State Government information and services, Department of Transport driver and vehicle licensing, a Centrelink and myGov services access point, tourism information and merchandise, access to the Wyalkatchem CBH Agricultural Museum, public library services, public computers and internet access, training workshops and one-on-one support, community events, room hire, and key cutting. We also offer general admin and secretarial services including desktop publishing, printing, laminating, binding, scanning, and emailing. The "Staying in Place Wyalkatchem" aged care support program is also delivered through our CRC.
