Morawa CRC

The Management Committee of the Morawa Community Resource Centre is seeking to appoint a full-time Manager. Situated approximately 4 hours from Perth, or 1.5 hours from Geraldton, Morawa is located in the heart of wildflower country. The Shire of Morawa has a multi-million-dollar health centre, excellent education options, first rate sporting facilities, and thriving community services, making it the perfect location for families. In your new role, you will coordinate day-to-day activities for the CRC, develop community projects and events, manage budgets and provide regular reporting to Management Committee. This is a permanent full-time opportunity with healthy work-life balance and the flexibility to show your creativeness and think outside the box. We offer a minimum 25hrs, up to 37hrs per week to be negotiated with the successful candidate. About you The successful candidate will enjoy creating and fostering strong relationships with various stakeholders, including local and state agencies, not-for-profits, local schools and businesses, sporting and community groups, and the general public. You will possess well-developed organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail. You will have a willingness to challenge the status quo and identify opportunities for positive change. Programs and Services The Morawa CRC offers a range of vital community services and regularly hosts events, including art & craft, Community events, street markets, Community newsletter, computer training & digital literacy, Government agency access, health and wellbeing courses, life skills programs and courses, room hire, support groups and much more. Essential Well-developed written and verbal communication Excellent customer service Proficient in MS Office suite Previous experience in an administrative role Possess a current national police clearance and working with children, or the ability to obtain.
