The Bremer Bay Community Resource Centre is at the heart of our small farming and fishing community on Western Australia's wild southern coastline. A dedicated group of people with a passion for community established our CRC in 1997. As part of the state wide Community Resource Network, Bremer Bay CRC is proud to be one of over 100 rural, regional, and remote community hubs that provide essential support to individuals, families, and businesses across Western Australia. Bremer Bay CRC provides digital access and support, library services, government services, tourist information, childcare, training and workshops, community events, venue hire, and a licensed Australian Post outlet to an average of 850 people each month. We publish a monthly publication – the Bremer Bulletin –, which connects people to local, timely information. We are passionate advocates for our community and rely on our strong relationships with stakeholders – including local and State Government and our 60 members – to support, represent, and strengthen our community. As a community managed Not-for-Profit, our CRC is steered by a passionate Management Committee comprised of highly skilled local people, who aim to inspire, facilitate and promote community development and sustainability. Bremer Bay CRC aims to strengthen relationships and improve our understanding of our community and their needs, through a supportive grass roots approach to everything we do.
