South Lake Ottey Family and Neighbourhood Centre is a welcoming, safe, vibrant community hub that has supported the diverse needs of the South Lake community for 30 years. We are an independent not-for-profit organisation and our activities and services are affordable, easily accessible, encourage social interaction and lifelong learning. The Centre is managed by a voluntary Management Committee and employs 4 staff and 25+ volunteers. The Centre has been successful in growing its services in the local community and is highly regarded by all stakeholders including Local, State and Federal government. South Lake Ottey Family and Neighbourhood Centre has Deductible Gift Recipient status under the Public Benevolent Institution classification to allow tax deductible donations to the centre. There is a wide variety of courses, programs and events on offer, catering for all types of interests and learning needs. Along with a diverse range of activities for families, individuals and community groups, we provide information and referrals, advocacy, emergency relief and food relief support services.
